Focus and purpose

Ariotake - Revista de Investigación Veterinaria y Amazonía (ARIVA) is a refereed, disciplinary, open access scientific publication sponsored by the Vice-rector Office for Research and edited by the Directorate of Research Institutes in coordination with the National University's Natural Resources and Environment Research Institute Amazonia of Madre de Dios, Puerto Maldonado, Peru; It has a biannual publication frequency (January-June and July-December), in its Online version.

ARIVA publishes original and unpublished articles that contribute to scientific knowledge in thematic areas of the disciplines of Reproductive Biology, Zoology, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Animal Science, Dairy Science, Breeding, Pets and Veterinary Science. Only articles in Spanish are accepted, sent by the Open Journal System (OJS) platform following the rules indicated in the Guidelines for authors.

Its mission is the dissemination of scientific, pertinent and rigorous production that allows it to contribute to the solution of the problems of world society in the aforementioned thematic areas. The target audience is researchers, undergraduate and graduate thesis students from the university community of the National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios, as well as national and foreign professionals interested in obtaining in-depth knowledge of the journal.
