Characterization of the hydrological ecosystem service of the Otilia stream in the Tambopata district, Tambopata province, Madre de Dios region –2022

The objective of this study was to characterize the hydrological ecosystem service of the Otilia stream. Physicochemical, biological and microbiological parameters were evaluated at 2 sampling points for each season. The collected specimens were identified at the order and family level. The ECAS limits were exceeded for dissolved oxygen at the sampling point after the bridge for the dry season. Likewise, phosphorus nutrients exceeded the ACE threshold for the dry season. Thermotolerant coliforms exceeded the allowed limits of ECA at the sampling point after the bridge for the Dry season. The biotic index showed that the sampling point before the bridge for the rainy season had a slightly contaminated water rating. While, in the other points and times, they were classified as clean waters. Mercury concentrations did not exceed CEQC at both points and times.
