A new tree species of genus Drypetes (Putranjivaceae, Malpighiales) from the Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios department, Perú

During the development of the project "A longitudinal study to test the acclimatization of trees to more than four decades of climate change", in the Tambopata National Reserve, in the Madre de Dios region - Peru, a new species of genus Drypetes (Putranjivaceae ) was discovered of. This new species is described and illustrated, and its relationships with other related species are discussed. In addition, an identification key is included to differentiate the Peruvian species of Drypetes.
