Focus and purpose
The Amazon Journal of Social Sciences (RACS) is a refereed, disciplinary and open access scientific publication, sponsored by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and edited by the Directorate of Research Institutes of the National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios, Puerto Maldonado, Peru; it has a semi-annual publication frequency (January-June and July-December), in its Online version.
The RACS publishes original and unpublished articles that contribute to scientific knowledge in thematic areas of the disciplines of Business Sciences, Administration, Education, Accounting, Communication and Sports. Only articles in Spanish are accepted, sent by the Open Journal System (OJS) platform following the rules indicated in the Rules for authors.
Its mission is the dissemination of scientific, pertinent and rigorous production that allows it to contribute to the solution of the problems of world society in the aforementioned thematic areas. The target audience is researchers, undergraduate and graduate thesis students from the university community of the National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios, as well as national and foreign professionals interested in deepening their knowledge of the journal.
