Work procrastination and addiction to social networks in centennials working in the clothing trade sector, Tarapoto 2021

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between work procrastination and social network addiction in centennials working in the clothing retail sector. The nature of this research is applied, and its design is non-experimental. In addition, the study involved a sample composed of 384 centennials employed in the clothing trade sector in the city of Tarapoto. Data collection was carried out through the application of surveys for both variables, following the parameters established by the sample size. Among the main findings, it became evident that work procrastination presents a low level (58%), centennials positioned social network addiction at a low level (53%), likewise work procrastination presents a link with lack of control and excessive use with a correlation coefficient amounting to 0.802 and 0.788 respectively, with a pvalue of 0.000. Thus concluding that there is a connection between work procrastination and addiction to social networks in the clothing trade sector.
