This article analyzes the experience of the voluntary University Social Responsibility project CASAVIDRIÓ, focused on the reuse of glass waste through a circular economy and service-learning approach, developed at the National University of San Martín, Peru. The study adopted an applied approach, with a descriptive level and a non-experimental design, using a case study methodology. Data were collected through participant observation and documentary analysis of the project and its final report, with results systematized into environmental, social, and educational dimensions. The findings show a reduction in improperly disposed glass waste, its transformation into reusable products, and active community participation. Additionally, the project strengthened university–community engagement and fostered environmental, social, and ethical competencies among students, consolidating service-learning as an effective educational strategy. It is concluded that CASAVIDRIÓ represents a relevant university social responsibility experience that demonstrates the feasibility of integrating circular economy principles, environmental education, and local development. The project is replicable in other university contexts; however, future initiatives should incorporate more robust quantitative indicators to enable a more precise assessment of environmental, social, and educational impacts.
