Abstract

The implementation of a business intelligence system at the Albert Einstein Academy, located in San Martín, Peru, aimed to enhance business decision-making by optimizing data management processes. This study assessed the system's impact on three key dimensions: extraction time, transformation time, and report generation time. Results showed a significant reduction of over 99% in operational times and an improvement in information availability, which shifted from regular to good and excellent levels. Additionally, user satisfaction with the generated reports increased significantly, with most cases reaching high levels. Statistical analysis using the T-test confirmed the significance of these improvements (p < 0.001). In conclusion, the implementation of business intelligence proved to be an effective tool for optimizing management and facilitating more agile and informed decisions in educational institutions.
