Abstract

This study aimed to implement an automated information system to optimize document management and loan administration in libraries in Tambopata. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach to evaluate operational efficiency before and after system implementation. The results showed a significant improvement in loan administration, with a variability coefficient R² of 0.353, indicating that 35.3% of the changes in loan management were explained by the implementation of the web system. Additionally, management times were reduced from an average of 18.4 hours to 9.6 hours per document process. Regarding user satisfaction, the results revealed a 45% increase in perceived efficiency and ease of use after the system implementation. Statistical analyses confirm that the UpravibBlio system significantly improved both operational efficiency and user satisfaction in the libraries of the region.
