In a country such as Peru, recognized as one of the world’s megabiodiverse nations, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of its biodiversity is essential as research advances, enabling more effective assessment, conservation, and sustainable management. Here, we report four (4) new additions of vascular plants to the Peruvian flora. These correspond to four species of the tree genus Tachigali of the Fabaceae family: Tachigali acrensis van der Werff, Tachigali amplifolia (Ducke) Barneby, Tachigali argyrophylla Ducke and Tachigali richardiana Tul. An updated checklist of Tachigali in Peru is provided, which currently comprises 29 species.
