The study analyzes the potential of the Cachuela Oviedo Agricultural Producers Association for the development of experiential tourism in the district of Las Piedras, Madre de Dios. The objective is to establish the possibilities for tourism development through the inventory of natural and cultural resources, and to evaluate the existing basic and tourism infrastructure. The methodology includes interviews with the villagers and analysis of the infrastructure. The results indicate that the community has a high tourism potential due to its rich biodiversity and cultural resources, although it lacks adequate infrastructure. The conclusions highlight the need to improve infrastructure and promote experiential tourism as a sustainable strategy for the economic and social development of the region. This approach would not only benefit local producers, but would also offer tourists an authentic and immersive experience of rural and cultural life in the Peruvian Amazon.
