Turismo sostenible y desarrollo territorial en la Amazonía latinoamericana: revisión bibliométrica en Scopus

La investigación sobre turismo sostenible en la Amazonía creció sin consolidar todavía una lectura territorial integrada. El objetivo fue caracterizar su evolución, influencia, distribución geográfica y núcleos temáticos, y derivar una agenda para Negocios Internacionales y Turismo. Se realizó una revisión bibliométrica con protocolo PICo y PRISMA 2020 sobre dos exportaciones de Scopus, con fecha de corte 8 de septiembre de 2026. De 267 registros se eliminaron 43 duplicados; se cribaron 224, se buscaron 91 informes, se evaluaron 34 textos completos y se incluyeron 33 artículos. El corpus reunió 525 citas, índice h de 12, 142 autores y 23 revistas; el 60,6 % se publicó entre 2021 y 2026. Perú, Brasil y Ecuador concentraron 27 estudios. Predominaron turismo comunitario y ecoturismo, mientras la conservación apareció en 32 artículos y la gobernanza en solo 10. Como conclusión se puede decir que que el campo evolucionó desde la valoración conservacionista hacia enfoques de planificación, identidad, medios de vida, e innovación, pero mantiene brechas en cadenas de valor, medición distributiva, gobernanza comparada y internacionalización.
